told me I was being arrest for owed back taxes and then called back trying to disguise voice as a woman to say they're going to arrest me. I can't believe I talked to them for so long!
This scammer has called us numerous times telling us he is with the Department of Legal Affairs of the US treasury department...very broken English... he states that he will make "big legal troubles for us" unless we pay up - we don't know how much money he is asking for but he has left us several messages under 2 different names - Frank Lewis and Allen Brown. He has also used 3 different return phone numbers: 323-786-8560 is the most recent, back in Sept. he used 760-666-8462, 510-629-3881
I recieved a call from 202-640-5468. The foreign man asked why I hadn't paid my taxes.. He said I owed $3000 in back taxes. That was funny cause I always get taxes back.. I asked him his name and he would not provide it. Then he said since I hadn't paid my taxes, he was sending five police officers to my home to be arrested for tax evation! WHAT?! This is horrible! I was so upset, I researched this and found this site to reassure me that this call was a fraud.. Thank you for your posts. Now all I want to do is get this idiots arrested for FRAUD!!
