guy just did the same to me, got me to pay $1806 over moneygram to a leonidas suarez in the dominican republic. i took a closer look later and found that it was [***] and now im trying to get whatever money back that i can.

THIS IS AN EXTORTION SCAM

They will send you an email from a gmail address something like [email protected] of course I didn't look at the sender until after I sent the money, they'll quote all these statutes that you've broken and that you have to pay a fee so that you don't get shipped of to the dominican republic to face charges at an "international court".

They will threaten to pick you up from your home and fly you over seas to face the charges.

There is a hotline for this issue, there are many people who have fallen prey to this scam.
