Just got a call from this number today with the same info as above stating a cash advance place lodged a complaint against me. He said my only options were to pay up or get a summons. Have any of you actually received a summons? He has my address from 18 years ago.
This David cooper called and stated he wanted to speak to our son on a legal matter about a pay day loan. I called our son and he didn't even know what a pay day loan was. This guy has Indian, but has a american name. My son told him then send the legal complaint in writing. We are educated and work for our money. Dude, get a real job and stop scamming people.
I just spoke with the attorney general's office in my state. Complete and total scam. Ignore the calls from "David Cooper" 202-239-7065. Legal action is actually being taking against him. I'd love the police to come knocking on my door like previous poster said! HAHAHA if you only knew, Mr. "Cooper"
