This is the script of the vonage voice message they left:
"Hi this message is intended for you. This is officer James Morgan calling you from federal crime investigation unit of IRS. That is the Internal Revenue Service. Now the purpose of this call is to inform you that the IRS has decided portfolio recover the base amount outstanding in the-early-said(?) to be in your best interest to call me back as soon as you get this message in order to discuss these critical situation. My direct hotline number it's 202397198. I repeat it's 4022397198. Goodbye."
I called them back to see what kind of fast one they are pulling. It is from "IRS" and they are threatening me there is a lawsuit of $1245.57. This "James" has strong accent and sounds like a one man show. I asked for supervisor and he did not transfer. He said wait for my local sheriff to come arrest me and DMV to suspend my DL.
OMG, these scammers can really think every American is a fool.
