Another Scam
We got a call yesterday on our cell phone it was from a 202-241-0270 number. They left a message as we didn't recognize the number. This man left a voicemail stating he was investigator so in so and he was with the IRS..he stated that our property was being investigated and to call immediately. We called the number being scared to death as we have no liens nor do we owe IRS anything. Well it went into a message you've reached a certain cell phone (I forget the carrier it was weird). We then called IRS to find out what was going on? They told us it's a scam and that IRS would send you something in the mail first to inform you they never call you on the phone like this. So beware..

I have been called twice by a person claiming to be an IRS agent. The number the call came from is 202-241-0270.
They of course had a foreign accent like India. They claimed there was a lawsuit against my home and I was being investigated. Please stop these people.

I had this scammer leave a message on my home phone.  He claimed to be from the IRS, and stated that there was a lawsuit against "my name and my property".  Clearly a scam, but I'm not sure what recourse there is other than to delete the call and hope that no one else falls for it.  I would like to choke the guy, but I assume that's not possible.
