It's not the IRS, it is a scammer/extortionist calling from India. He is trying to scam money out of you. Don't answer the call. Don't give them any information.
Received a call saying that my husband wanted to get arrested and that we were in trouble for tax invasion and that they had an arrest warrant issued with our local police station for his arrest...Once confronted became very combative and even called my "babe"...Really like someone from the IRS would act like that.

REALLY?>??? I hung up on him. When I tried to call back to verify who he was the line will not ring through anymore, just busy signal. Good Morning, nice to be awoken like this, I HATE PEOPLE!
Had a phone message from 11:27 A.M. on Tuesday 5/13/14. The call was very distorted and grainy. A hispanic gentleman identifying himself as Jonathan Loges(?) said that the IRS had conducted an audit and the call was both time sensitive and urgent. He said that I was hiding money from the federal government. I returned the call at approximately 6:20 the same evening when I got home from work. I immediately called the number back and got a message saying to leave a message. I called it again at about 7:20 and a female answered saying hello and that they are not here. I asked if this was the IRS and received no repsonse. I will call from work tomorrow and will post the response.
