202-241-1344 The caller ID name said WASHINGTON DC. My daughter picked up the phone and when the guy said he is from the IRS and wanted to speak to her husband, she said You have the wrong number and hung up. These people have called us before from a different phone number saying they want to arrest my husband. About 5 minutes later the same number called and I picked up the phone, ready to argue with whoever it was. I said hello, hello, but they did not speak. I said DON"T CALL ME AGAIN, and then a woman's voice said Goodbye.
Just like other callers, DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL!!.IGNORE, IGNORE
The caller with a thick Asian or Indian accent try to pass a fast one but they need to know who they are calling. Try to scare /intimate us by saying that our Local PD is coming to pick me up for a warrant from crime & investigation (phony title)but the caller could not tell me for what ( plus I didn't allow him to continue with his BS story). I told him let me get your information and badge # and I will contact my local PD to verify.
TIP: IF There's a warrant out do you think that the PD is going to give me a courtesy call, Nope they will knock on my door and get me out. If I owe money don't you think that the IRS will notify my mail not by a personal phone call plus they are more courteous than this scammer.
DO NOT RELEASE ANY INFORMATION- everything needs to be in writing.
