I received a phone call this morning as well. It was a recording about IRS making a final attempt to reach me regarding taxes. I immediately hung up and blocked the number because I knew it was a scam. They called back later this afternoon and left a voicemail with the same recorded message. I called the number back from a different phone and received a recording about magic jack.
I received 2 phone calls this a.m. 10:43 a.m. and another 11:23 a.m. but did not answer either call, they left phone message. l called back the second time, the man ( India) spoke very broken English and asked what my name was, l told him since he had called me, he should already know my name. (I did not give it to him) and l asked who he was and he said United States government re: taxes. I told him to go sell that "kettle of fish" to some one else and hung up the phone. Then I proceeded to block the number.
