Received two calls today from this number. It is the IRS scam the news media has been reporting. Hopefully people will not fall for it. Also disappointed with the DO NOT CALL registry--we are listed on it, but this nonsense still gets through. It is a mechanically generated voice.
Received a call yesterday SUPPOSEDLY from the IRS from Chicago stating they would be filing a lawsuit. Needless to say it is nothing but a SCAM. Ihope no one falls for this. Laughed when I heard the message as did the rest of the family.
Received a call today from 516-453-6886 about some woman's medical reimbursement for past surgery. I told them it sounded like a scam and to give me a number to call and confirm that this was legit. Guess what number they gave me to call: 202-241-1555. SCAM SCAM SCAM
