IRS Warrent for my arrest. Officer could hear name.

Austin white called from 202 2412107 then his senior officer named Samantha Jones spoke saying my husband would be arrested  by sheriff in one hour for tax miscalculation. She offered two options: one, settle the matter  ( outside the court), two, fight in the court  if he doesn't win he will be paying $32000.  OOCR is to pay $3902 to green.moneypak within 45 minutes. Also said that the phone not to be disconnected while making payment and not to discuss the matter with anyone. When I confronted her that it's a scam she remained silent.

They called and said the same thing, scaring and threatening. They also leave contact number201 2412114

First of all the recording they left sounded almost like a chipmunk it played so rapidly.
The message stated that the IRS was bringing a law suit against us and to call them back for further information..  When I called them back, I spoke to a representative that was hard of hearing.  Kept asking my name and my husbands name and our address.  I asked her why she couldn't just look it up by our social security numbers (which I'm glad I didn't supply).  I was suspicious when she could not do that and seemed flustered by the question.  I called them back a little while later and told the person who answered ( the same lady I spoke with before ) that she and her fellows scammers were a bunch of A holes and should be ashamed of themselves for pulling this kind of crap on innocent people.....especially the elderly ones who might not know the difference between them and the real IRS.  I wish just once authorities would track down and nail these people to the wall.......make a public example of them to let others know they can't get away with this so easily.

Unfortunately the majority of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. There isn't much can be done since we have no jurisdiction in those country's.
