I got a phone call from the IRS N they said I needed to call them N I was going to get arrested for a long time then hung up but said I had to return their call asap.....I'm not calling!

We have received a number of phony calls from 202-241-2421. They may say the are IRS, but they are not. Most have foreign accents and/or a computer generated voice. I'm a CPA and been in tax for 45 years. IRS only calls once an agent or Revenue Officer has visited, or you called them. IRS always sends mail notices (several) before they take action.
Thank you for this. I just received 3 automated messages from Lizann Esquivel saying IRS is suing me for more information??? At 1st I Was a little panicked because getting woke up on a Saturday morning told you're being sued is not a cool way to wake up. Glad to see that the same name and number has been used as a scam.
I knew this was a scammer. I called back on an outside line, they answered "Internal Revenue". Funny that when I asked who the President was, they could not answer and hung up
I called the number. They confirmed i was the correct person after they "verified" the last 4 digits of my social and my dob ( both of which i gave incorrect information) but apparently thats the information they had. Lol. Listen up people, If you believe the only way the IRS will accept payment is via wire transfer, you probably shouldn't answer your phone. Natural selection. Lol. The IRS will never contact you via phone. When i said i couldn't do it at this time they said of i disconnected the phone line the police would be to my house to arrest me within 20 minutes. I was playing along because i honestly wanted to know how this played out. Surely people are not getting in their car and driving to the bank while they have these people on the phone, right? But thats exactly what they want you to do. By the time i hung up the phone my only question was, how do They get the police to show up in 20 minutes. When you call the police for a real problem it takes a solid hour for them to show up. Lol. The only people They can possibly scamming are the elderly who don't understand technology, right??? They are clearly not at the top of their criminal game. I do love that They accuse you of intently deceiving the government while THEY are posing illegally as the government.
I have just got a call from Lizan Esquivel, saying more or less: this is the last time I have to fix my taxes because I have been sued by the IRS!!!! This person must be caught immediately and sent her to jail becasue she is posing a s a government official.
