I have received 2 calls from Richard Lewis, 202-241-3122. He stated his batch number is 183652. Asked for me and told me I would be arrested within 2 hour at home or my work place. I Called the IRS 1-800-829-1040 to report the caller.
I got a call from Jason Clark; but like a fool I fell for it and lost some money. But I have let the Internal Revenue know about him and I have call the inspector general about the incident; now I am calling him and harassing him. I have a new purpose and is to make his life miserable.
Received three voice mail messages and one of them came from 732-703-9219. All three messages essentially said that the speaker is an IRS agent with the Crime Investigation Unit and that I should call back immediately or else risk arrest. The last one said "If you do not answer this call all I can say is good luck as the situation unfolds."
The IRS website specifically states that it will never initiate contact with taxpayers via email or telephone calls. All IRS communication is by written mail. As per the IRS website I confirmed that I had no legal issue with them.
These callers come off as very uneducated and rough. I checked the phones and all of them are cell phone numbers.
