I just got a very threatening voicemail on my cellphone from someone named William Scott claiming to be from the Criminal investigations department of the FDIC of all places!!! Number is 202-241-3356. Guy had a heavy Indian accent and I could barely understand him but he basically threatened criminal and/or legal action against me but wouldn't say what for, and told me i could lose my home, my job, and my FICA score (yeah right!). When I called the number back it took 5 times asking and he finally told me he was with the FDIC. I said the FDIC would NEVER call anyone and threaten anyone with anything and that he was a scammer and not to call me ever again. I also took it upon myself to call the FDIC directly in Washington and spoke to a very nice woman who assured me there is no criminal investigations department and on one named William Scott on staff there!! She thanked me for reporting this [***].
we have been receiving about 50 plus calls a day from this number the caller is using profane language to the staff members who are answering the phone, we have repeatedly asked the caller to stop calling. This is a business.

He stated that he wanted to speak with my manager and advised ehr that shwas interfiering with his investigation. He was extremely rude and nasty and was very threatening and pushy. DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY ANY INFORMATION!!! Scammer!!!
I received a call from a man with a very thick heavy accent. I immediately knew it was a scam by the way he started out. He said I owed $384.00 to Cash Advance USA. I told him I have never dealt with that company before and he got demanding and kept yelling "why you not pay your bill?" When I told him I didn't have a bill he said "why you lying!" I couldn't believe it. Then he said he wanted to speak with my manager. I am the manager! He told me he was with the FBI in St. Lucy, Florida. First he gave me a name of Ron something and then he gave me his name as David Steven. He told me I had 30 minutes to call Cash Advance and confirm what he was saying and then to call him back at 206-567-2892. During all of this I had hung up on him numerous times, with him just calling right back. I get so tired of these kinds of calls. I'm at work and everything just shuts down because they don't shut up. Somebody needs to stop them.
I received a call from a man with a thick accent. He said his name was Robert something, he also had a man named William Scott. They are calling my work which is a hospital, we told them they were impeding patient care and they said I don't care. I called the FDIC and was told they do not work for them and it is a scam.
