I got at least 10 calls today from 202-241-3634 they left no message. I checked on line the same number called so many people. If you recognize the number don't pickup.
Same story, some idiot with an Indian accent called my house multiple times and when I picked up he is like there is an arrest warrant against me for tax fraud and he is from the office of Logan Smith Law. I told him go screw yourself, the IRS would not be making such phone calls and he is like you have one hour to respond to our demands. What kind of professional law office would do something like that.
I feel bad for the elderly and the immigrants who don't know better how to handle such [***]. I agree with everyone here that our governments should intervene and stop this madness.
Someone just called saying the same thing to me. I haven't paid my taxes and I have an arrest warrant out for me. The only way to get around getting arrested is to go to a grocery store and purchase pre paid credit cards in the amount of $1500. An officer will then come and collect them.
Who has ever heard of the IRS or government asking for pre paid cards rather than a cashiers check. Mind you, I own real estate also.
I got called THREE times today from this number. Same story that we were under tax investigation. Wanted my hubby to pay $2400. Then they got rude and asked if my husband was from Pakistan and married me for a green card. Then they said they would send homeland security officers to our house to arrest him. He even cursed at my husband and said when he gets locked up and leaves me alone does he want him (the caller) to f*ck me! They had fake badge numbers and fake threats. Called back again ! I want to report them for harassment at this point.
