We received a automated voicemail from 630-690-2396 (Wheaton, IL) informing us that this was "final notice" that the IRS was "filing lawsuit" against us. Like the rest of you, there was no mention of a name or case number. They told us to call 202-241-3641 in order to receive more information on the case.
received a call stating.....this is your final notice, the IRS is filing a law suit against you....etc, etc.....didn't call back but felt I should report it in the hopes of saving someone from believing this type of call and responding to it.
Received a call from 202-241-3641 stating that I had a serious IRS violation and this was my final chance. Apparently, they were going to pursue litigation.
