I also received a call from 202-241-6221. Let's be clear, I received 4 or 5 calls in a row from this number. The person, in a foreign accent, asked what kind of company I was. They kept calling me over and over. Very frustrating.
*SCAM* Got a call from this number saying it was from the IRS Criminal Investigation Division and to call back immediately. When I called the first person could not speak English very well and was reading from a script, something about how I have been audited and they found that I was criminally negligent and provided fraudulent information to the IRS and how I was going to be investigated and that I owed $1000 something dollars. I asked to speak to someone that could speak English and the next guy spoke better English and read almost the same script as the last guy. Gist of the scam is, they threaten you that they are going to start an investigation and that your life will be fubar'd and that cops will arrest you in 45 minutes UNLESS you settle a reduced balance with them now on the phone. I called the IRS to verify and it was indeed a scam. They also called from 202.241.1362.
