Threatening message left on my phone, saying that they were from the IRS, and that me and my family owed back taxes, were not responding to letters sent, now IRS would be threatening me and my family with a law suit. Whole scenario false. Have always paid out taxes [even ahead of time with vouchers] and never received any communicRions whatsoever from the IRS
Same as others- received a message asking to call back 202-241-4137, saying that we owed IRS money, etc... Glad to find that this is a scam on google. I did call back out of curiosity, but it is just music playing and i hung up in 10 seconds to avoid possible high call charge.
