I have an employee getting harassing debt payment calls from this number. As her supervisor I have been taking the calls and her behalf and telling them to quit calling her. They change their name each time and now have said she is under "federal investigation" for crimes committed.
If I knew how to report them I would... they are clearly breaking the credit collection laws!!

well this ppl hve thick assent n they calling me each time n they scaring me. i had make some payments to them but when i see this complaints i'm totlay shocked. And now i'm not gonna pay any payments to them. beacuse they ppl are doing a scamm.and if they calling you just report them and never receive theire calls.
I got a call from this number he tried telling me I owed money to a company I have never dealt with before and that I would go to jail if I didn't pay I asked for the paper work stating what I owed and to who and he said he didn't have any paper work to send me then told me I was barking like a dog so I hung up on him I called back and the same guy answered the phone but unsed a different name it was Tom Hanks as his name this time last time it was James Brady
Said his name was Tom Jackson and had a foreign accent. He told me he was from the Federal Crime and Investigations Dept in Washington DC. I asked for an address and what his job title was and he told me he had given me all of the information he could. When I kept pressing him for more information, he said F You and hung up. My husband called the number back and jumped all in his case for talking to me the way he did...he asked him the same questions I had already asked but without anymore information. He told him not to call back. I would report but do not know who to report this to. I may call the sheriff's dept and see what they suggest.
How do we report these calls? Does anyone know? The number they call from changes but they all have thick accents and state they are with some Federal Investigations Division.
