got a call from this number saying that they are Crime Investigation Department and that my name came up for federal investigation...they left a message to call back..
Hi and Aloha from paradies I too got a call asking for the owner of the phone. The person talking did say there is a warrant out. But if he knew the person, that would never happen, she would get in trouble. Good thing I smelt that rat. Looking forward having call me back now that I am aware of the scam. Thanks for expo.
Got a call saying they are the agency supervising the IRS, and that I was being investigated for something. It's probably a scam, and if this was Canada or Germany I would not worry.
But this is the USA! What if it's a rogue US agency running their own little scam?
I alerted my lawyer and pulled my money out of the bank.
