I received a phone call from this number also. He tried to say he was a officer with the DEA and told me I had better pay him a fee or i would be arrested. He told me he was going to ruin my life. Be extremely careful!
These people have contacted me several times today... and I finally called the DEA myself, and told them what was going on. This group that contacted me in a false name, also sent me a letter. I have saved all that information to make sure I get it to the real authorities. In the meantime, I also called my bank to secure my funds.
they called me today. said I was in big trouble, but all that could be fixed for $3000 via Western Union. called me back 10 minutes later wanting to know why I didnt have the money yet. told him I couldnt take out $3K on my debit card and needed my check book! By this time I knew it was a scam...they called back a few minutes later very beligerent. THEN I called him and said I was Sgt Stendenko of (Cheech and Chong fame) and he hung up on me.
