Just got a call from this number threatening that an officer will be coming by with papers in the next 30 minutes if I don't provide information. Total scam, he even provided me with an address of 1111 Constitution Ave. NW Washington, DC 20224. Both people I spoke to had a serious foreign accent do pretty obvious scam. If they are persistently calling my local police said to tell them I will wire the money and never do it so they quit calling....basically said there is no way to trace the phone # or the wire info.
Got call from person claiming his name was jack green from the irs crime division and that we needed to talk to him or further legal action will be taken. When he was pressed about what was wrong with our income taxes he suddenly changed his story and claimed it was regarding property taxes. after asking what the irs had to do with property taxes he claimed he was sending something in the mail and hung up.
Just had an foreign speaking guy claiming to be from the IRS to send me an warrant and affidavit for money laundering and tax evasion, and that i would be arrested in 30 minutes and will spend approximately 48 hours and if i can prove i didn't do it then no judgment will go against me. My husband called him back in 1hour and told him he had the police here and they have no warrant out for either of us, and they would like to speak with him and they hung up. Scam
