A poorly made automated message stating they are the IRS calling about a lawsuit and to return the call about more information. I'm an Accountant. This is NOT the IRS calling...you'll receive a notice via mail/certified mail if the IRS is attempting to collect from you.
Telemarketer. There IS a way to block future calls from this and every phone number you don't want to have call you. I set up a contact named AD - BLOCK THIS. I add every scam number to this. Have 13 numbers now and growing. On my iPhone, i blocked the call by going to SETTINGS --> PHONE --> BLOCKED and adding the contact name of AD - BLOCK THIS (or whatever you want to call it). I no longer get calls from each of those designated numbers.
Scan saying they were going to sue me and worked for the IRS. Hung up as soon as I asked for credentials. The IRS does not operate like this plus who does not know when the owe the IRS??
