This is yet another cowardly extortionist hiding behind a disposable, untraceable magicJack number. Unless you know someone in Washington, DC who owns one, you might wish to assume that all calls from any number 202-241-xxxx come from a similar source.
I got a call a couple weeks ago saying we fraudulantley filed our taxes. I called them out on their scam.... I then called them multiple times back. THe heavy accent guy asked why do you keep calling...... I responded to harrass you like you harrassed me...... This time Kelly Smith called yesterday 2 weeks after the first call. I am calling her back today to play some more games......
They left us five voice messages about tax fraud and being IRS agents, one from this number. My husband said ignore them. I called them back. I should have listened to my honey.
The guy who answered had a heavy accent, likely Middle Eastern or may be Pakistani or Indian. I heard Moslem call to prayers in the background. I asked the guy which country he is calling from, why do I hear allah prayer calls, and if he was a Moslem. He started yelling, said "have respect for allah, you Americans are pigs, and we will beat you and gang rape you."
