Wow If Anyone Out There Falls For This One, Then There Is No Hope For You LoL. All The Red Flags Are There: Heavy Accents, Lots Of Mumbling/Stumbling When You Ask A Question, Lots Of Shuffling Sounds On The Phone, Stereotypical American Names ('Mark Watson', 'Richard Webber').....They Are A Throwback To The Old School Phone Scams. We Called & Spoke With "Mark Watson" & "Richard Webber" Of The "Criminal Investigation Division" Of The "Federal Agency Subdivision Of The Treasury Department". We Never Got To The Actual Reason For Their Initial Call, Because I Kept Asking Questions & They Just Kept Changing Their Titles (Investigator, Police Officer, Inspector) & Rambling On About Divisions & Subdivisions Of The Government. At Least They Know Enough To Use A Phony Number With A DC Area Code. But Since I Am Originally From DC & Have Relatives Who Work For The Federal Government, They Are No Match For My Line Of Questioning LMAO. We Have Called Several Times -- They Either Hang Up On Me Quite Quickly Or Just Sit On The Other End Of The Phone In Silence. But Like I Said, If You Can't Sniff Out this Scam As Soon As You Answer The Phone, Then I Feel Bad For You Son.
