This is a call from "The Internal Revenue Services" in a robotic recorded voice.....Since I received calls like this in the past, I decided to have some fun.
I called the number and an Indian sounding dude asks, "What is your name?"........so I ask, "What is your name?"............this went back and forth with different variations until he said my name is(spelling it out), F._. C.K Y.O.U and he hung up...............Made my day!
Unfortunately, some people fall for these [***].
Got a call from an Indian-sounding gentleman allegedly from the Dept of Legal Affairs, telling me I would be in a legal mess if I didn't return his call. I didn't, so I guess I'm now in a mess.
I too (Washington State) got a call today (9/5/2014) from the same gentleman with a strong foreign (Indian?) accent with the same message that if I didn't call back, I'd be in a real legal mess. Think it's a scam. Anyone else know anything?
They left a message on my home phone today as well. I did call back however and got a answering machine of some kind....LOL...I wish i would have found this site first, i wouldnt have bothered. I knew i didnt have anything to worry about but my curiousity got the better of me i guess....Now i know to disregard.....Its funny....some Iindian guy it sounded like saying his name was "Karen Miller"?.....LOL.....At least thats what it sounded like.....Hardly understandable but it read pretty much word for word the script i was seeing on other websites......LOL
