I got a call from this number saying they were Kevin Mathews from the IRS , a lawsuit has been filed against you and to call back this number before they file in the local courts. They dont say who they are looking for . And on Googling this number it seems to be a IRS Scam.
I've been receiving 3-5 calls per week regarding this bogus IRS phone scam telling me I owe money and that im being sued. Just happened again today twice so far from different numbers one of which is this one. I filed formal complaints with the TIGTA and also with the FTC but doubt much will be done. I of course have never provided them with any information.
Keep getting this message from IRS I have a CPA and know I pay my taxes it's a scam and I have caller ID just let the answering machine pick it up and I delete it
