This # with a message was on my answer machine today 12-11-14 1:07pm cst. Message seemed to say the same as below though it was very difficult to tell. I called the # approx 3:30pm today and an automated message said it was the Investigative Dept of the IRS in Wash DC, pls leave a message. I said hello, waited about 10 sec's then connection cut off.
About 15 sec's +/- after I hung up, I received a phone call from this same #, same person as was on answer machine saying, this is Investigative dept of IRS in Washington, DC and are informing me that they have an arrest warrant on my name at my address. I asked address then asked his name. He said he is the arresting office Peter Hoffman and gave me an arrest warrant ID #.
The man was a foreigner, spoke very low and was very difficult to understand. When I told him how hard it was to hear and understand him and made him spell everything out to me, letter by letter, he asked me to hold on while he talked to his supv. Then he said he'd call me back on a different phone.
I waited about 10 mins but he never called back.
Note: Must have been taken from phone book. This is my nick name.
This guy calls claiming to be a IRS Agent. He tries to portray that he needs money for a tax fraud that you owe. This is the second time he has called. Don't give him any information and definately not your Social Security number.

Same person called from this # about 3hrs apart. Left message both times claiming he's IRS very difficult to understand. If it was truly the IRS they would have the correct contact info for the person they were calling.
