About 10 am 9/26/14 Electronic voice call claiming to be the IRS about a "time sensitive issue". (On my answering machine.) IRS mails out notices. They don't typically call unless you have something "currently going on with them" that you are constantly conversing. I believe it's a scam.

Had a message on my voice mail stating: "The hotline to my division is 202-241-8224. I repeat, it's 202-241-8224. Do not disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you. Good bye and take care" I did return the call and spoke with a guy with an obvious Indian accent. He asked for my name and wanted to know if I had a lawyer. It was at that point that I just hung up on him. Sounds very much like these other reports of scammers.
