I received a message on my telephone that gave this number as a call back number. The recording said that it was the IRS. I called back and they scared me to death. They told me I had misreported my income , that all my assets were going to be seized and I was going to be handcuffed and taken to jail. I contacted my lawyer and was told that this is a scam. Do not give any personal information to the people that are associated with this telephone number. They will steal everything you own. Thank goodness I talked to my lawyer. Do not fall for this.
Same Indian, whatever scammers called here with the same crap for my daughter that hasn't lived here for years. Figured IRS would send out certified letter.

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.
