You obviously did not read the previous comments, as you remarked the caller was an "Indian sounding 'gentleman' ". Actually, he was an Indian AH scammer. You have a lot to learn, quickly, or you will become one these AH's victims!
I called around to US Bank. It's odd that they have this # in the system, but at this point I can't even call this number back. I tried masking my phone # [to protect myself] and call this # back but the line picks up and hangs up immediately.
Whenever I get a call from this number, they do leave a voicemail. It sounds like someone of Indian descent, saying that I have a loan approved through US Bank. I called US Bank's #s off of their main site and I have ZERO records in their system.
I would definitely add this # to the reject list of your phone and even call them on their sh*t if you happen to pick it up.
kept getting calls from this number after i appied for a loan once i called back they wanted me too pay $240 in insurance fees too recieve $5000..... well if i had $240 i wouldn trying to get a loan!! GOTTA BE A SCAM
I keep getting this Indian Lady calling my phone stating shes from US Bank. When i called her back she answered "Us Bank" I said yes why are you calling my phone#. She then said, u have been approved for a loan. I said "this is us bank" She said"yes" let me call you back in about a half hour so i can get all of your info and call back. Very Very Fishy and I dont think its Legit. Ever since I tried applying for a few payday loans on line ive been getting Horrible Not legit calls from all these Indian People.
I have received numerous voicemails from this number saying I've been approved for a loan up to $7,000. The Indian sounding gentleman that calls needs a payment up front for insurance on the loan. Obviously if I had money right now I wouldn't need a loan... Sounding very strange, I called my local Us bank location and they do not have this number or the gentleman's name that called in the company directory nor do they charge anything up front for loans. They advised me to try and get more info from the guy and see if they could find any info in the system. After trying to gather info from the gentleman he was very willing to offer personal info but couldn't give me any company info such as user id, badge # or location #. I suggest calling them out and not giving them any info. If only Us bank could persue this and get there name out of it. Us bank is a great company I have dealt with for 8 years now.
