Thanks for posting the helpful info. These people are clearly amateurs. Incompetent, but very annoying. Everyone who is harassed by them should file complaints. I myself am on the Do Not Call List so will be contacting the FTC to report them asap.
Spammer /scanner called and left threatening message about 10 minutes ago. Difficult to understand, but mentioned they were calling on behalf of the IT'S and would take legal action against me. I called back to let them know I was on to their scam and that I'm on the Do Not Call list. After the phone rang, for about five calls, the person hung up just after answering. When zip persisted, a man answered and said, "What the f*** do you want?" I told him that someone from that number called me and that I was onto the scam. He told ME never to call again and that it didn't matter that someone had called from his #. I called back and left a message on the voice mail letting them know I intended to file a police report and complaints with the FBI and FTC. I also told them NEVER to call my #again. If they harass you, harass them back and jam their phone line. The a**holes (excuse my language) deserve it.
Just got this call from "IRS". I love these calls! I just spent 10 minutes cussing them out!! The first guy transferred me to another who did try to make it sexual. After I told him the call is being recorded and the police are on the way, he transferred me to his supervisor. He then tried to say this call was regarding tax issues. Of course he wanted me to provide confirmation that I was who I said I was. After I kept nailing him on the fact he was using my former last name, he finally hung up on me. I did tell all of them that I will be more willing to talk if they would only learn my language and speak it clearly. All 3 guys sounded middle eastern.
