Person called stating they were a paralegal and were trying to get ahold of people who had paid a company out of Largo, FL to sell their time share, and never heard back. Said Florida had been trying to shut down a lot of these. Gave us the exact amount we had sent to these folks and said not only could we get it back, but they would have to give us what our timeshare was worth because they had not fulfilled their obligations. They had our address that we lived at the time of this too. We were then told that we had to secure a Bond and could do so by Paying $892.00(refundable once everything was completed) thru a moneygram. Said once this was done we would received our money with in 2 days with the papers to sign over property.
Stupid us, we fell for it, sent the money to what they had as a Brinks-Netspend acct (did not know at the time this was a MasterCard Prepaid Debit acct. Tried recalling this number the next day and, of course, no one answers and voice box is full!!! Surprised Surprise Made a fool of again. I hope someone really gets these people.

Never pay money by untraceable means to anyone on the basis of a cold call. Period. Always demand written documentation. Even then, you should still do investigation to find out if they are in fact legitimate. You should report this to the moneygram people. Go back to wherever you got the money gram and report it.
Offering $ for losses for timeshare resales in the past as part of a class action suit via Cornerstone Community Bank out of Largo, FL; Also had buyers for our timeshare for $13,900 and we just had to go to WalMart and via Brinks Service there, send a bond of $890 which we would get back when all processing finished. Etc., etc. etc. pretty slick! We tried to check our law firm, Allen, Anderson and Powers, LLC in FL but nothing. Nor on the class action suit via Victim Advantage as part of Dept. of Agriculture?????? FRAUD
Received a 'cold call' back in October, but never got requested call back. Received another 'cold call' this morning with basicly the same monolog from Mr. Allen as 'Stupid Again' and others received, only this time, I asked for additional information. I checked with Cornerstone Bank @ Seminole Mall, Largo FL - they knew nothing. I then Googled the Fnn Law Group, also officed in Largo FL and read a less than complimentary review under Ripoff Report website. I still kept desparately looking for a way to verify the seemingly 'too good to be true' Class Action Award and 'oh by the way, we also have a party from London, Ontario who are interested in your time-share' and would pay approximately 150% of the original purchase price, after I secure/send a 'fully refundable' Bond via Walmart or Brinks-Netspend. Fortunately I kept exploring and spoke to a gentleman @ website that offered me a guaranteed 'get out' for a fee, but assured me that what Mr. Allen (a self-proclaimed Christian, father of 2) offered was a complete & total SCAM! Is there no end to this blatant interstate fraud? Are Walmart & Brinks not aware of their being used in this scam? Thanks to everyone for the warning.............. Wasn't the original Scam Artiust also located at the Seminole Mall? 'Birds of a feather....'
Marcus Allen called me and offered to send me two checks from Cornerstone Bank. I just had to send him a surity bond from the walmart kiosk. Then when I didn't send the moneygram he called me back and said I was going to be responsible for 2800 in legal fees. When I called him back and told him I was not interested he threatened me with the legal fees again. My husband took the next call telling him to put it in writing and mail it to him. I then got a text message telling me that he was sending Bubba over to f--- randal. then Bubba called to say he was coming over to get Randals a---.
