"Kevin Jordan" called me and said he's with the irs and they are filing a lawsuit against me for not paying my taxes (mind you, I have always paid my taxes) and if I don't pay my "outstanding balance" today, I will have a criminal record and they will come arrest me at my house in two days. He had a very strong accent and I could hardly understand him. He didn't let me get off hold and told me to go to the bank and get my last 200 out and he will stay on hold the entire time, (which he did because I pathetically listened.) He said that after I pull the cash out he will tell me which address to go to, to purchase an electronic voucher. I was texting my friend about this in the meantime and she looked it up online and saw that it was a scam. My mom also heard about it and told me to hang up. My sister who is a dispatcher for the local police dept. said they have been getting countless calls on these scams. One lady paid $35,000! Thankfully I didn't pull out the money but just hung up. He called back immediately, and when I told him it was a scam he hesitated for a brief moment, and then threatened to come get me in 2 days. The man needs Jesus.
Larry Hager called and said he was from the IRS gonna arrest me for unpaid taxes from 2008-2012. I told him i am on not able to pay that and don't have unpaid taxes. He said I have to pay $500.00 today or he would come to my address and arrest me. I said I wouild have my Accounant to call him back with the information. He couldn't react fast enough. Told him I was friends with our local Police I would have them to check for a warrent and he could meet him on the same day to make sure he had the paper work right. He got in a hurry to get off the phone with me. So I knew it was a SCAM please be aware call your local police to let them know and if there number shows up on caller ID give it to them to trace.
