It's TRG Staffing/Field Solutions. I emailed them telling them I'm not interested, as well as corrected them on how to pronounce my name. Looks like someone didn't have Hooked on Phonics. If you can't pronounce my name right, you probably don't have what I want anyway. Since when did Cassie and Casey have the same phonetic value? I just find things like that unprofessional.
I strongly suggest what was suggested to me by a HR Generalist, remove your phone number ans address from resumes posted on Monsters, CareerBuilder websites. I have two resumes, one that list previous employers with job titles; and the other one excludes where I was employed but indicates reference upon request. Cyberworld is global, and with all the scams and scammers running rampant, you need to protect yourself. It is safe to upload your resume only at business websites or local worksource offices. To keep the scammers at bay you can select confidential for your resume posting. Therefore, you won't have every telemarketer or work from home salesperson calling your number!
I also got a call from them. If they are a legitimate company, then they need to employ people who can be understood. It wasn't so much the foreign accent as that he talked so fast that even after listenening to the message several times, I couldn't understand the name of the company or the call back number. Also the background noise sounded like a phone bank.
Rogers Communications can go to hell. Who wants to be "phone spammed" from parties that harvest phone numbers off of Monster and HotJobs? And, what kind of lowlifes would take a job placing such phone calls? Pretty pathetic.
