Received a call from 202-292-1187 - Ashley. Came up as District of Columbia. Ashley stated they are a Non-profit org. wanting a committment of a donation and they would send me the confirmation in the mail. I an on a do not call list. Ashley stated they are a Non-porfit ord therefore are exempt from Do Not Call list.
On our caller I.D. the name shows up as "District of Colombia", which put me off since that is not the proper spelling. This organization must prove they are non-profit or a charity in order to bypass the no call restrictions. Since the callers refuse to send any information without money, their status is questionable. I filed a complaint with the No Call Registry and hope those who have complained here will also do so.

Shows as District of Columbia. Receiving multiple calls daily. Please stop these calls they are disrupting our family life. Some have come as late as 10pm right when we are getting ready for bed.
This number called back a few minutes later today as unknown/unknown. The caller left a message that I had a package for a computer that they were having problems delivering and needed more information and gave the 202-292-1187 number as a callback. This is the first time they have left a recording. I have not ordered any computers and no computer parts from any company.
