There are people in Pakistan who still resent that we took out Osama Bin Laden in their country (never mind that they were protecting him). So they have put together all kinds of intricate scams to bilk US citizens. So they robo call through computers in the USA. Sometimes they call pretending to represent Microsoft, sometimes as a company that can reduce your credit card interest, sometimes as trying to fix a student loan debt, sometimes as a medical bill collectors trying to cut you a deal. Don't fall for any on it. You will be able to recognize them because they usually have a Pakistani or Indian accent.
