This is the Tea Party Patriots of Virginia. I didn't answer, looked it up on another webpage, then called back with a *67 prefix to block my number. Sure enough, it was the ol' economy ruiners themselves.
So I left a message saying I was going to use my selective call forwarding to send all my telemarketer calls to them. Using my Cox service, I can input up to something like 35 number and when I get a call from that number, it is automatically forwarded to another number I input. I send my telemarketer call number to some deserving person or company--this month it will be the Tea Party Patriots of Virginia.
I wish I could do the same - these guys called 4 times in a row last night around dinner time with mere minutes in-between the calls [note - we're also getting an inordinate number of "No Caller ID" calls (which we also totally ignore) - I would assume they, too, are political calls of one type or another); we're in Fairfax, VA.
You might want to see whether this works as you intend. When you do selective call forwarding, the caller ID that shows up at the number you forward the calls to might be your own, not that of the person calling you.
You should experiment a bit to find out, and you should check whether, if the call is forwarded again by the phone to which you forward the call, any further call forwarding from that phone is still billed to you.
Remember, too, that you are forwarding your calls to someone you don't trust and over whom you have no control. Yet they may get control of, and you may no be able to regain control, of your calls.
Why don't these pest leave people alone?? Democrat or republican they are both exactly the same and controlled by the same people and it is NOT the American citizens. To "vote" in America is to waste your time.
