I got a call this morning, on my cell phone, from 202-355-4597, at 10:45 Eastern time. The recorded message said that the IRS was sueing me, and to call them back. This must be a new number that the scammers are using, so I want people to be aware of this scam, that has been going on for awhile now. The IRS will only notify you by mail, not by a phone call. So please don't answer this number, or call them back. Most importantly, do not send them any money.
