IRS lawsuit scam

Female voice stating " . . . the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you . . . " etc.
Neither I nor the the "company" that called were identified by name.
This is obviously a scam.  I have messed up my (rather complex) income tax returns on several occasions and the IRS has always responded with a letter explaining my error(s) and providing me with an opportunity to respond in a timely manner.  Threatening telephone calls are not the IRS way.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I returned a call to this number.  They stated that I was being sued by the IRS.  Guy had a thick ?Indian accent.  He asked me to get a pen to get his information, then the line went dead.  I guess I sounded young enough to be hip to the scam....
