If you're able to do it, don't answer them in any way and hear nothing from this wise guy. If they're able to leave threatening messages, they'll gain confidence they may be able to scare you enough to pay a bogus debt. No kind of answer can eventually chase unwanted callers away.
This guy calls me up and threatens me with legal action from the IRS. First of all, IRS doesn't call anybody. Second thing is he admitted that the IRS is not supposed to call people. Please, can somebody stop this guy?
I just got off the phone with Office Kevin Martin who said I have a lawsuit being filed against me for intentionally defaulting on my tax files for over 6 years. They were sending someone to my house...um, I don't live there and haven't in almost a year. I was calm, which irritated him. He asked is there anything I needed from him and I said no, there's nothing you can do as you are NOT the real IRS and then preceded to let him know that the REAL IRS never proactively calls people for payment. But thanks. Boy, Bye!
