Computer generated message left on machine CLAIMING to be IRS & you should call them back immediately to avoid any action from IRS. SCAM! IRS would contact people via mail, so don't call them back!

"Daniel Stewart, badge #15273" told me that I had failed a statutory audit for 2008-13 for tax evasion, and that all my income sources (salary, 401K, etc.) would be frozen and that an officer would come to our house shortly, that I was facing 5 years of prison and revocation of my citizenship. He told me that he was unable to give me any details and so on, told me to call 1-800-829-1040 for verification. I asked to talk to someone else, but he said he was the only person When I told him that I thought he was a scammer, he became upset and reminded me that he was taping the phone call, I just hung up.
