Just got a call from this number today, which showed up as from Washington DC on my phone. I did not answer it, of course. All of these numbers are scams phishing for active phone numbers and gullible people.
This number claimed they would offer a 2000.00 loan with a 7% interest to someone I know but made them pay 199.00 first by western union (probably to avoid tracking) to ensure they could pay it back. Afterward, they charged them a 22% wire charge because they claimed it was "such a large amount of money." The person paid 285.00 wire charge through western union and their loan money never came in! This is a scam and be careful so that you do not fall victim!
Danny glad I found this page and chose to do a little research before calling the 202-379-1931 phone number back to give them confirmation to steal my money out of my bank. The U.S. should track them down and prosecute. They offered me 3000.00 with a monthly payment of 270.00 for the next 12 months. He was an Indian native and I couldn't understand much he was saying but his name was Victor Fields that was a red flag for me right there!!
I got the same call as Teisha. $3,000 loan at 7.5% intrest for 12 months with a payment of $270 a month. He said his name was Oscar Raymond from Advance Paydday Loans.. He also gave me and address in Washington DC and the above phone number. I was always told if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. I was hesitate and I told him there are so many scam going around I was not sure about giving him anymore of my information. I did give him my mailing address and wished I hadn't. After I questioned him about this being a scam and he insured me it wasn't, then he politely hung up the phone. I googled this phone number and this is what I found. I also told him I was looking up the site he gave me: www.Creditloansources.com, the site was there but, I didn't see anything about Advance Payday Loans. The site that was refrenced on that page, he knew nothing about it. I'm so glad I didn't give out anymore information. He did sound like an India native and he was hard to understand. I think he called me the night before saying I had applied for a auto loan but, I hadn't.
