I just got a call from the same number, same pitch that I received a government grant. The caller was barely intelligible. I hung up and blocked the number.
Got a call today from 202-381-2670. Caller said he’s from the United States Government (in very poor English). Said I was selected to receive a grant that I didn’t have to pay back! I asked him his details and gave me his name as Miceal Spencer and his number is 202 108 6533 which is different from the caller ID. Told him will call after verifying these numbers with FBI. Then he said some nasty comments about killing me if its not a fake call after talking to FBI. Then i cHecked these numbers from 800notes.com , which were proved to be fuadulent.
Received a suspicious call from 1-202-381-2670 to request my visa number in order to receive a $9000 grant from the president of the united states and the federal reserve. When the person was ask what the grant was four she replied a loyalty Grant. I received a reply of [***] and the person hung up.
Got a call Friday night. She said she was from the US Treasury. She said I was selected for a $9,000 grant and the money would be deposited within 45 minutes. It was after banks closed so I knew there was no possible way for them to wire me the money so I said I didn't feel comfortably with giving out my information. The woman said, "Oh OK" and hung up.
Just got the same $9000 grant call to my cell phone. Older man in a heavy Indian accent. Couldn't understand him at all, told him I wasn't interested and hung up.
