man w accent called claiming IRS if i didnt pay the amount owed in 30 mins someone would come arrest me immediately, i was told i could not hang up the phone he would stay on hold while i got ready to go to bank for a loan. i freaked out and hung up. thank GOD my mom watches the news and she informed me its prob a scam. that was the scariest call i have ever received!
Read my entry. IRS does not initiate contact by mail. No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes in the US. IRS has no powers of arrest. You will probably get more calls like this. Calls originate in India and Pakistan. Ignore and block the calls.
