Claiming they've got an arrest warrant and that the "cops" will be showing up at my home address. The voice of the caller sounded Hispanic/Indian and had poor English.
He stated is with the DC Department of Justice. If anyone else has gotten this number please feel free to share. Thanks.
I got a call from George today. He asked for my wife. I asked what this was regarding and he said he was from the DOJ and he hung up. I tried to call 202-391-0712 from my cell # and it went into a voicemail. Be vigilant folks!!! Don't give [***] like these ANY info.
I was told I had a unclaimed package at customs and it was worth 300 hundred something thousand, I hit the record buttom on my phone and I told him to repeat because my connection was bad. He did and then I played along, seems I could use a credit card or mail him a check and he would be happy to pickup my package and mail to me. Saving me time and money to get my package. So, then I started asking him a address to send my check he then wanted a credit card or I could send him cash in a card. So, then I said well who sent me 300 thousand and how do you know what is in my package, and isn't it a federal offence to open somebodys mail. He hung up on me. I was just begining to have fun. I sent my recording to my CID department since I work for a Police Department. Sad to say, some little lady or man will be sending this Jerk money in a card.
