Had a message left on my phone. Recording seemed to start late because there was no name or identity given about who it was. Only said it was their last attempt to get in touch with me (did not say my name) before I would be put in front of a grand jury for a Federal crime. I was instructed to call back to speak to a Federal agent to clear up the matter. What kind of threatening "BS" is this.

The scammer is trying to scare you into paying a bill you don't owe. Most likely he is pretending to be from the IRS. Congratulations on not falling for it.
