They said they were calling from the US Treasury department and that I qualify to receive a $9,000 grant. I hung up immediately. The caller was a woman and she had a very heavy accent (not american).
recieved a call from this number saying they were the federal goverments grant dept, and that I have been selected to recieve a grant of 9000 for paying my bills and taxes on time. They dont give you any info but are quick to ask for a debit card to put the money into that debit card (which makes no sense to me) or a bank account. Please be cautious with this call. Do not give your banking info over the phone to anyone you dont know!
When I told them I didnt feel safe in giving them my info over the phone, they said Okay and hung up.

This number called me saying they were from the government and that I qualify for a $9000 grant. I told him im not stupid i know a scam when i see one. He also said something about no scam is going on here and something about healthcare. I told him i have healthcare and the government knows that because its state healthcare. Then i told him i wasnt buying anything and im not giving him my banking info. Then he got quiet and I said are we going to talk here or are you going to hang up on me cause you were caught? He hung up on me. If it was legitimate he would not have hung up lol be careful! Some people can't call others out on scams but I sure will!!
