Recd call from # 202-411-2794 telling me I have a $9K grant coming my way. I knew it was a scan but kept them on the phone for at least 15 minutes playing along - it did feel good as I wasted their time while waiting for dinner to be ready. I told them I was 85 yrs old with a 65 year old wife and with the money I would buy Viagra:) They just kept pushing. I never gave them any personal info though - all fake..I'm not sure what to call this call where it asks below so I put prank call.
answered call and said "hello" several times. Finally a person said something about having won 9000 dollars. A foreign person. Now they are calling cell numbers. It is a scam so I hung up.
They just called me, said I was to receive a grant of 9000 dollars, said it was already in a new York bank and they need to know if I wanted it put into a bank account or onto a credit card , I told them they could send me a check and he said "no no no" you have to pick bank or credit card. So I told them "I wasn't interested" and they kept asking me "why"? So I just hung up.
