They are useing a spoof number looking for victims I call back they acted like a officer said I was going to jail fake case number fake everything. I reported them more people need to report this the cops news papers every where so older people do not fall for this fake IRS scam.

same as above. I'm a retired CPA. IRS will issue a written Notice of Deficiency prior to any legal (law suit) filing--all in the mail--no phone calls. I called back for fun to laugh at them. It rang and rang and rang, then dial tone.
