He posted an house for rent on craigslist, and it's happen to be my friends' home (current owner).  I pretended to be an interest person, and replied my email w/ the name Robert James (email: [email protected]), and asked me to text him w/ my personal information to this phone as an application.  He also mentioned that he's living in New Mexico, and the security deposit need to wired to him before he send the key.  I asked if he has the proof showing that he's an owner, all he said is Yes... and I asked him that I wantta see the tax record or copy of the title of the home, he couldn't provided it.  I'm a broker myself... I pulled up the tax record (which has my friends' names as the current owners), he disappear..  Please beware of this phone, and I hope that the police will track him down before he rob the $$$ from other people.

He is doing it to a house in South Lake Tahoe now too.

I was looking on Craig list for a place and came across a house with 2 bedrooms 800$ a month contacted the person through email that i was interested and viewing the house and the person who contacted me back said his name was Robert James and due to transfer they moved to new Mexico where they would be living for the next to 5 6 years and that if I wanted the place that I needed to send a 600$ deposit western union to his lawyer from new York city named quinniece.....he then kept messaging when I would be willing to send money ASAP and kept asking me if I was there and that if I was going to send money

Saying he lives in New Mexico and is trying to rent the house out in South Lake Tahoe and he is not the listed owner and is using the name of Svott J. Kriner to have money sent to him..

Thanks to the above for exposing this guy.  He did this to my family in Costa Mesa for a place on 268 Flower Street.  I could tell by his original email to our inquiry that this was fishy.  I googled the email and found him here....his google voice number is 505-819-3852 and his email is [email protected]   I led him on quite a bit in emails and text to get him comfortable with me and I called him 3 times with no answer.  Finally, near closing the deal he called me about the wire transfer where I told him he's a freaking loser and he's going to get stabbed in the neck, and he hung up on me but immediately texted me to wonder why I said this.  I told him he's scam and should kill himself.
